As a multi-discipline firm with ten areas of practice - Civil Engineering, Construction Management, GIS, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Planning, Public Works Administration, Right-of-Way, Surveying, and Water Resources - having the ability to draw from any one or all of these at any time allows us to work holistically to provide solutions for our Clients. We are proud that this approach also allows us to offer sustainable design solutions throughout the many phases of our Clients’ projects.
Wallace Group is an active participant in the field of sustainable design. As a company we are a member of SLO Green Build and of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). In addition, several of our employees were instrumental in the development of the local USGBC California Central Coast Chapter (C4). Many of our team members have either achieved LEED® Accredited Professional status or are well on their way to meeting that goal.
While we consistently develop our own knowledge and skills of the Green Building Industry, we are also dedicated to sharing what we know with our community and Clients. Many of our team members participate at the University Level as part time instructors and lecturers, while others do presentations to communities around the state.
We work with our Clients to incorporate project appropriate sustainable elements within their level of interest. Our goal is to add value to the community through a whole-systems approach to designing healthy, energy efficient, and environmentally sensitive projects.
