Grover Beach, CA – Oak Park Boulevard is a four-lane arterial located at the eastern boundary of the City of Grover Beach. The limits of the work extended from the US 101 overcrossing deck at the northern limit to West Grand Avenue. The project also included evaluation and improvements to the pavement at the intersection of West Grand Avenue at Oak Park Boulevard, from the western limit of this intersection eastward to the City limits.
The project included pavement rehabilitation and accessible corner ramp improvements along North Oak Park Boulevard in various areas and pavement rehabilitation work in the West Grand Avenue/Oak Park Boulevard intersection. Pavement rehabilitation methods included Full Depth Reclamation of the full width of the roadway from the northern City limit to the Ramona Ave to the south. Regional project funding was provided from the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) authorized via San Luis Obispo County of Governments (SLOCOG).
